Interprofessional Team

The collaboration of Inter-professional teams allows for different health care practitioners to comply with each other, this leads to better health outcomes. The ambition of broadening my understanding of a patient’s situation, it should be my obligation to conspire with each health practitioner, as their input is as important as mine.

The outcomes for the patients are shown immediately, as the Inter-professional teams are implemented to achieve high results through constant collaboration (Drinka & Clark 2016). The inter-professional are highly regarded best care practitioners that work together to achieve the best results possible for the patients.

The concept of implementing a inter-professional team into a patients situation allows for positive discussion and outcomes. (Slusser et al. 2018), identifies this as the team has a shared responsibility to work together and to make the tough decisions concerning the patient and their condition. The out weighing advantage of having an inter-professional team is the concept the “Team based care”, which definitely benefits the patients.

The academic reading has helped me in regards to my specific profession in that being Physiotherapy, as working in a team environment especially with individuals with different credentials allows for more efficient outcomes. I would demonstrate team values and respect towards the practitioners, too ensure success.
